Satanic Hits 17,000 MMR in Dota 2, Cracks Top 4 on Leaderboard

Per May 24, 2025, Alan “Satanic” Gallyamov, the star player of Parivision’s Dota 2, has once again stunned the community by reaching 17,000 MMR in ranked matchmaking.

With this latest milestone, Satanic has secured 4th place on the European Dota 2 leaderboard, trailing just behind several accounts suspected of using unfair methods to manipulate their rankings. What makes his achievement even more remarkable is that the 17-year-old accomplished this competitive MMR climb with a diverse hero pool, showcasing his adaptability and skill.

The only known legitimate player that beat him to 17,000 MMR was former Shopify Rebellion player Mark “Mangekyou” Kharlamov, a young Dota 2 star who has remained relatively under the radar. Mangekyou hit the mark in April 2025 with an average win rate of 62% in ranked matches, narrowly edging out Satanic for now.

Nevertheless, Satanic’s rapid rise through the MMR ranks was anticipated from the start of his competitive career in 2023. Early that year, he crossed 10,000 MMR, then skyrocketed to 16,000 MMR earlier this January. Given his current momentum, it wouldn’t be surprising if Satanic sets a new record by mid-2025.
