16 Indonesian Representatives Ready to Compete in China Open 2025

According to BWF information, 16 Indonesian representatives have registered for the China Open 2025 tournament — a prestigious Super 1000 level event that will take place at the Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium, Changzhou.

This tournament, offering a total prize of 2 million US dollars, will be held on July 22-27, with mixed doubles becoming Indonesia’s strength — sending four pairs consisting of three national training center pairs and one independent pair.

The Cipayung National Training Center is fielding three pairs inherited from coach Herry Iman Pierngadi: Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu, Amri Syahnawi/Nita Violina Marwah, and Adnan Maulana/Indah Cahya Sari Jamil.

The pair Jafar/Felisha has recorded the best achievements — currently ranked 14th in the world with several accomplishments:

  • Asian Championships bronze medal
  • Taipei Open champion
  • Indonesia’s highest-ranked mixed doubles pair

Meanwhile, the pair Adnan/Indah has shown great potential by twice defeating top seeds at Malaysia Masters and Indonesia Open, although they haven’t yet broken through to the quarter-finals.
