Prestigious $1 Million Soccer Tournament to Be Held in North Carolina

The prestigious 7v7 format soccer event — The Soccer Tournament — will return to Cary, North Carolina on June 4-9 with a $1 million winner-take-all prize.

The women’s category has expanded to 16 teams this year. Star-studded US Women featuring Carli Lloyd, Ali Krieger, and Heather O’Reilly will begin their campaign on June 5 against Austin Rise. Meanwhile, Solo FC led by legendary goalkeeper Hope Solo will face Speedy Turtles.

In the men’s category, 48 teams will compete including Sergio Agüero leading Seleccion Potrero. Several European professional clubs are participating, with AFC Bournemouth appointing US national team player Tyler Adams as their recruiter.
