Ciro Alves to Stay at Persib Bandung Until the End of Liga 1

Head of Communication PT PBB, Adhi Pratama, has confirmed the status of Ciro Alves at Persib Bandung. The 36-year-old striker, who has been with the club for three seasons, will remain with the team until the end of the 2024/25 Liga 1 season.

“Ciro Alves is still part of the Persib squad and will play until the end of the Liga 1 season 2024/25,” explained Adhi Pratama.

The player, who made a significant contribution to last season’s championship title, is scheduled to play in the remaining four matches:

• Malut United
• Barito Putera
• Persita Tangerang
• Persis Solo

Regarding Ciro’s future after this season, the management has not provided any certainty — but has planned a special farewell event.

“Further information regarding Ciro’s status for the next season will be announced at the right time. Since Ciro Alves is one of Persib’s legends, there will certainly be a farewell, not just from Persib, but also from the Bobotoh,” added Adhi.
