Bukauskas eyes top 15 spot in UFC light heavyweight division

Modestas Bukauskas is set for a pivotal clash against Ion Cutelaba at UFC 315 in Montreal, aiming to break into the light heavyweight top 15.

The rising Lithuanian fighter enters the octagon with strong form — having claimed 4 wins in his last 5 fights. Meanwhile, his opponent Ion Cutelaba has also been impressive, winning 3 of his last 4 bouts.

“I think this fight will determine which one of us will enter the Top 15,” said Bukauskas in a pre-fight interview facilitated by UFC Indonesia.

The 30-year-old also teased future plans, adding:

“I have someone in mind to challenge after this fight, but I’ll only reveal it later.”
