Al Hilal Targets Bruno Fernandes, Manchester United Takes Firm Stance

Manchester United Rejects All Approaches for Bruno Fernandes

Manchester United has made it clear that Bruno Fernandes will not be sold during the upcoming summer transfer window, regardless of outside interest. The club views their captain as a vital part of their long-term strategy.

Al Hilal Eyes Fernandes After Failing to Sign Salah

Saudi Arabian giants Al Hilal, who will participate in the Club World Cup this June, have reportedly added Fernandes to their transfer shortlist. The club turned to the Portuguese midfielder after being unable to finalize a move for Mohamed Salah from Liverpool.

Despite financial constraints and a willingness to consider offers for several players, United has labeled Fernandes as “untouchable.”

Ruben Amorim Confirms Fernandes is Staying

Fernandes, now 30 years old, signed a contract extension until 2027, with an optional one-year renewal. He previously declined a move to Saudi Arabia in the last transfer window and reaffirmed his commitment to United.

“No, it’s not going to happen. He’s not going anywhere because I’ve already told him,” said coach Ruben Amorim. “I want Bruno here because we want to win the Premier League again. He plays 55 games per season and consistently contributes at least 30 goals and assists.”

Consistent Contribution Despite Poor Season

Even amid United’s difficult domestic campaign, Bruno Fernandes has continued to shine, tallying 19 goals and 18 assists in 52 appearances this season. His strong bond with Amorim has been key in keeping him settled at Old Trafford, despite mounting external interest.
