Persib Bandung has officially secured the Liga 1 2024–2025 championship title after Persebaya Surabaya was held to a 3-3 draw against Persik Kediri at Brawijaya Stadium.

The result means Persib now sits at 64 points with three matches left to play, while Persebaya trails behind with 54 points, making it mathematically impossible for them to catch up. This marks another glorious chapter in Maung Bandung’s rich football history.

Achmad Jufriyanto Shares His Emotions

Veteran defender Achmad Jufriyanto expressed his delight following the confirmation of the title.

“This is incredible. Persik was trailing in the first half, but we all believed that football is played for 90 minutes plus. Since we only needed a draw, we were confident Persik could hold them,” said Jufriyanto.

With this achievement, Persib can now prepare with confidence for the remaining matches, already crowned as champions.
